    Sasha Goodfriend

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Sasha Goodfriend is a community organizer, curating feminist & queer experiences through partnerships with statewide government, community organizations & creatives alike. She works to advance this mission through her roles as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women (Mass NOW) and Chair of the Menstruation to Menopause and Advocacy content streams of Our Bodies Ourselves Today. Sasha graduated with a B.A. from the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University majoring in International Relations with a minor in Women, Gender & Sexuality studies and received her Masters in Public Policy from Simmons University.

    Kyla Speizer

    OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

    Kyla (she/her) is a community organizer who has devoted her career to leveraging digital communications to mobilize for queer intersectional feminism, activism, and policy. As the Communications and Operations Manager at Mass NOW, she focuses on using digital tools to actualize marketing and development goals for grassroots feminist organizing. Kyla graduated in 2023 with a B.A. from Brandeis University in Sociology and Anthropology, with a minor in East Asian Studies. Although a life-long activist, her education in Sociology was integral for building her passion and shaping the lens she takes on equity, feminism, and advocacy.

    Ainsley Tischler

    POLICY & EVENT PLANNING CO-OP

    Ainsley is the Spring 2026 co-op at Mass NOW focusing on Event Planning and Policy/Legislation Management. Ainsley is a political science and philosophy major at Northeastern University, passionate about human rights, local activism, and international politics. She is from Orlando, FL and loves reading, baking, and hiking."

  • Katherine Blasius

    MENSTRUAL EQUITY ORGANIZER

    Katherine Blasius has a strong background in public policy and Portuguese studies and is deeply committed to creating systemic change that addresses long-standing inequities impacting marginalized communities.
    As a Community Organizer, Katherine focuses on cross-cultural advocacy, community partnership-building, and policy-driven solutions aimed at creating sustainable, large-scale impact. She brings a community-centered, equity-focused approach to her organizing and outreach efforts.she is dedicated to bridging cultural and linguistic gaps to ensure programs and policies are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
